Dr. Scott M. Fried realized early in his orthopaedic career that the mind and body are closely linked in the healing and disease
processes. He is founder, president, and chief surgeon of the Montgomery County Hand Center - one of the first medical facilities to utilize biofeedback and alternative medical techniques to treat
carpal tunnel, thoracic outlet syndrome, and complex nerve problems. Dr. Fried is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. After graduating from the
New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1981, he studied at the Thomas Jefferson University Hand Center and subsequently with Dr. James Hunter, an expert on thoracic outlet and brachial plexus problems.
Dr. Fried enjoys spending time with his wife and three children at their home in Pennsylvania. He is also a former professional musician and studies the martial arts. |
