Medical Self-Hypnosis: The Art of Healing and Being Pain Free, without
Medication or Surgery
Taught by internationally recognized surgeon and author Dr Scott M
Fried, this presentation will focus on the art of healing through self-empowerment – using
what your mind and body already know how to do, if you just know how
to let them. You will also learn when it is correct and appropriate
to utilize medical treatments like medications, surgery and chemotherapy
and how many how in many cases surgery is NOT necessary and sometimes
can be a very wrong choice.
You will also learn what self-hypnosis really is, and though it may
feel quite similar to daydreaming, there is one big difference, you
control the dream and make it come true. You will experience this first
hand under Dr Fried’s personal guidance, and begin healing that
very day.
By the end of this presentation you will learn how to define and understand
what disease and healing are and that pain is treatable, almost always.
And that surgery and medications are often avoidable!!
You will understand that self-hypnosis is something everyone can easily
do and it becomes effective almost immediately; allowing you to relax
and sleep again, lessen your pain, lower your blood pressure and to
heal. You will learn actual self-hypnosis techniques at the seminar,
and bring these tools home to start your healing at once. You will
become in charge of your own pain, diseases and destiny. And if you
ever do need surgery, you will heal faster and more efficiently, enhancing
the benefits.
Dr. Scott Fried, D.O., F.A.O.A.O. is board certified in orthopaedic
surgery and did a fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery at
Thomas Jefferson University Hand Center. He is the founder and chief
surgeon of the Upper Extremity Institute in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania
and his practice has many facets: conservative, alternative and operative
treatment of upper extremity orthopaedic injury and especially complex
nerve injury. His Institute was among the first to utilize alternative
treatments such as self-hypnosis, biofeedback, massage, custom splints
and treatment programs emphasizing lifestyle modifications to treat
carpal tunnel and thoracic outlet syndrome, fibromyalgia, pain and
complex nerve injury.
He has lectured and written extensively on these problems and has authored
three books, including “My
Father’s Secret: A Surgeon’s
Self-Hypnoisis Healing Solution.” He is on the board and actively
teaches self-hypnosis techniques to members of the Greater Philadelphia
Society for Clinical Hypnosis, physicians, patients.
He also uses hypnosis to enhance the effectiveness of surgery for those
patients who do need operations. He will teach you how to self-heal
through the power of positive thinking, self-hypnosis, stress reduction
and small changes in how you live your life. He will lead you to a
stronger self-awareness and to the higher power that is within each
one of us. Through his unique blending of conservative, conventional
and alternative medicine he will teach a skill set that will enable
you to deal with pain and optimize your healing, in many cases avoiding
or lessening the need for surgery and medication.
